Drugs were found in my car, but they are not mine. I was arrested. Do I need an attorney?

If you’re in a vehicle and drugs are found, you’re arrested or you’re charged at some point later on, it’s important to talk to your attorney.

In Florida, there’s something called constructive possession. That really means that you knew or should have known that the substance was there. Talk to your attorney immediately because we can begin building that defense. Don’t talk to the police. Don’t talk to your friends about it. Talk to your attorney because we’ll be looking out for you first and foremost.
