What are grounds for divorce in Florida?

Florida is a no-fault state for divorce. In other words, as long as you are able to swear that your marriage is irretrievably broken, meaning there is nothing that the courts can do to help repair this marriage, the judge will grant you a divorce. There are certain circumstances where a divorce can be delayed if one party does not believe the marriage to be irretrievably broken. Those are very specific circumstances and you should consult with your attorney if you believe that they fit your case.
