How are child care expenses divided in Florida?

Child care expenses are divided by the number of overnights that a parent has with the child, as well as the income, so it’s a calculation based upon the financial affidavits and the child support guidelines worksheet that we develop from those financial affidavits. It’s a very similar formula to how the bottomline of child support itself is calculated. If one parent may be responsible for 55% based upon the child support guidelines, then, they’ll also be responsible for 55% of daycare costs.
